JRF opportunity for validation of an optofluidic device for detection of bacteria in food samples

Test the binding efficiency of phage proteins to bacteria present in food samples and optimise the capture of bacteria from food samples using magnetic nanoparticles in a microfluidic device. Conduct assays using an optofluidic device to detect bacteria in food samples.
