AlivaMab Biologics is working in the discovery of human antibody therapeutics and trusted by top-tier pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies to deliver panels of drug-quality human antibodies.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Perform molecular cloning using molecular biology techniques
- Prepare plasmid DNAs and analyze DNA sequences
- Assist in phage display library construction and screening
- Work closely with the Antibody Discovery and Protein Sciences teams to address operational needs
- Accurately and consistently record experimental methods, materials, and results.
- Provide regular progress updates and present data at internal team meetings and department meetings.
- Collaborate seamlessly with our Antibody Discovery and Antibody Engineering teams to enable project advancement.
Qualifications
- BS in Molecular Biology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related scientific field with 0-3 years of relevant industry experience, or MS degree.
- Experience with standard cloning, PCR techniques, and plasmid preparation and analysis are desired
- Experience with designing expression constructs is a plus
- Experience with DNA analyzing software is a plus
- Experience and/or knowledge in phage display work is a plus
