- General laboratory activities and instrumentation including: pipetting, preparation of solutions/samples/media, and operation of pH meters, autoclaves, and analytical balances
- Characterize filtration media following documented SOPs and established test methods such as filter binding capacity, total organic carbon (TOC), total nitrogen (TN), charge capacity, and microbial retention
- Complete a variety of bioassays, including Protein purification, Host Cell Protein quantification, DNA quantification, mAb purification/quantification, ELISAs, qPCR/ddPCR, etc.
- Assist with the development of new applications for existing products using all previously described tests
- Assist with the validation of bioassay test methods
- Work with microbial and bacteriophage samples and challenges
- Possibly support all stages of the mammalian cell culture process, including maintenance, transfection, etc., at flask and bioreactor levels
