Work as Senior Research Assistant at The Centre for Infectious Diseases and Microbiology

Assist Dr.Muhammad Kamruzzaman, in constructing “therapeutic” plasmids designed to evict plasmids carrying antimicrobial resistance (AMR) genes from bacteria and test these in vitro, in mouse models, and in patients. Get involved in developing and testing diagnostic PCR-based tools for detecting AMR plasmids and in preparing ethics applications at the Westmead Institute for Medical Research as a Senior Research Assistant.

If you have practical working experience in bacteriology and bacterial growth kinetics assays. If you have knowledge and practical working experience in molecular biology techniques, including PCR, DNA/RNA isolation, gel electrophoresis, RT-qPCR, and gene cloning.
