PhD opportunity within the Safeguarding Health through Infection Prevention (SHIP) group at Glasgow Caledonian University which is funded by the National Biofilms Innovation Centre (NBIC) and Collaborative Training Partnerships (CTP) alongside industrial partner Nexabiome.
The candidates will also spend time at Nexabiome laboratory, where they will learn methods for isolation, production, and purification of bacteriophages, as well as novel methods for formulating and delivering phage-based therapies. The students will be part of the NBIC and CTP program which offers doctoral training in biofilm science, engineering, and technology.
