Phage therapy has the potential to transform the management and prevention of bacterial infections. This PhD project will focus on the development of novel freeze-dried phage formulations that can be used for treatment of dysbiosis, a bacterial infection of the human vagina.
The project will involve the isolation and characterization of bacteriophages, freeze-drying of bacteriophages, and formulation of bacteriophages.
