The Laub Lab at MIT is seeking a motivated Research Technician to join our team in investigating conflicts between bacteria and phages, as well as bacterial defense systems. The research focuses on discovering new bacterial defense mechanisms and studying how they work. This will involve a combination of molecular biology, microbiology, protein biochemistry, and computational approaches to address these questions., and computational approaches to address these questions.
Engage in cutting-edge research on bacteria–phage interactions, molecular evolution, and protein biochemistry. Utilize molecular biology techniques, including cloning and strain construction with verification.
